About Paul Sudds Personal Training

Having qualified as a Personal Trainer six years ago it soon became apparent that I could offer my clients far more than just training sessions and advice on nutrition and weight management.  I have spent the last 4 years training with arguably ‘the’ most innovative and ground breaking company in the fitness industry (FASTER Health & Fitness) and through them have qualified as an Advanced Functional Trainer and an Advanced Functional Therapist.  I have also joined an elite few to become a FASTER Trainer Expert.

In short, I can now offer my clients a comprehensive package including personal training, rehabilitation work, gait analysis/correction and assessing and solving joint movements and imbalances. 


I have worked in the leisure industry for over 9 years, beginning my career as a Pool Lifeguard then progressing to Gym Instructor 8 years ago.  During this time I studied hard to gain my Level 2 and subsequently Level 3 Personal Trainer qualifications.  I am also a fully qualified TRX Suspension trainer.

Hobbies and Interests

I am an avid practitioner in the martial arts, not only as a method of exercising but also for the self discipline it teaches. I adapt these disciplines in everything I do and believe this aids me in achieving my own personal targets in life and can also help my clients do the same.  I currently engage in Tae Kwon Do, Ju-Jitsu and Karate.  I am also a member of a local sub-aqua club participating in organised dives around the UK.  My holidays are often activity based i.e. skiing, windsurfing and walking, having trekked the Himalayas which required immense amounts of willpower and dedication.

Advanced Personal Trainer (REPS accredited)                   

As a FASTER Training Expert I can offer my clients far more than basic training sessions. I provide a comprehensive package including personal training, functional training, sport-specific training and gait analysis/correction.  Training sessions are tailored to meet your individual needs and are complimented with nutritional advice.


Diploma in Functional Therapy          

Therapy sessions are aimed at clients requiring help with limitations in muscle range, joint movement, pain relief and injury rehabilitation. Results are achieved through a combination of hands-on techniques including myofascial release, trigger point manipulation and corrective exercises.


Advanced Functional Trainer                    

Functional training involves creating natural movements that mirror those used in everyday life and can be used for all clients but is particularly beneficial to athletes, runners and sportsmen and women of any discipline.  In everyday life we move our bodies through 3 planes of motion (sagittal, frontal and transverse) so my exercise programmes incorporate this, unlike most fixed gym equipment which only allows you to work in one plane. 


TRX Suspension Training                            

As an internationally qualified TRX Instructor I am able to incorporate the use of TRX cables into your training sessions to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability.  With over 300 exercises to its repertoire, you are guaranteed to have a fun yet challenging workout whatever your fitness level; from novice through to advanced Navy SEAL style combat training.
